Baumgaertner Johanniter

Sample from my project vineyard in the Bavarian Alps at an altitude of 650 m.ü.N.N facing east. Unfiltered. On the yeasts until May. Clear. Bright intense yellow turning to faint orange. Clear Mellon. Fresh to ripe yellow fruit. Lots of freshness in the mouth. Mouthwatering malic acid. High but still balanced acidity. Full bodied. Phenolic. Lasts long and pleasant in the mouth. Quite surprising. Different from hotter regions.
