A little late-- opens with some oxidation that blows off after 15 minutes or so. Still some red fruit, eucalyptus, anise. Still has a full body and richness. You can tell it is a Shiraz, rather than Syrah or No. Rhone.

Valentine's Day wine with homemade pasta

Spices, more tannic on finish, decent blueberry and plum jam flavors, very dark tasty fruit, though a little too hot (14.5% alc). A nice drop for the price, but nothing great. Imagine the red Coonawara earth pushing through: the lush dark fruit keeps struggling to push through the earthy top layer, but can't quite emerge. Had for Mum's Bday. Very nice toasty oak, blackberry, blueberries on the nose. Similar on the palate. Alcohol well in check with a nice medium finish. Nicely done and would buy again.

Good but not outstanding. Pleasant to drink

after decanting overnight and then reporing and cooling, served after 24 hours and WOW, what a fantastic wine. showed all of its strengths and a bargain at this price. Even someone who doesn't like shiraz' found it delicious. the second bottle was opened without decanting and it has hot and never opened up the same way, making it hard to assess how good this wine actually is.

Jammy, spicy, and smooth.It was a tad hot as it opened but it was balanced. Great value for $20.

Quite sweet, plummy brambles on the nose – quite fragrant and elegant. Very good palate. Excellent balance. Very elegant. Very good fruit. Nice structure with fine tannins on the finish. Lovely after, with some cherry kernel flavours.
