Blind, I would have guessed a Chardonnay from the Jura. This is a tad thin and underwhelming per se, but the crisp profile shows its elegance and would pair very well with a rich dish with melted cheese. Quite remarkable how pinot noir muted to Pinot blanc to adapt to up slope terroirs in the cotes de nuit !

Lemon and baking soda on nose. Lemon, rind, yellow grapefruit on the palate with a fresh saline finish. In typical Naudin style this has food concentration and balance. I always enjoy Claire Naudin's wines. One of 1,135 bottles made, kindly shared by SJL who had brought back from France. There can't be many bottles in Singapore!
