Delinquent Monferrato Rosso

Nice, crushable, softer Nebbiolo. Has a lot of cherries, almost of the stewed kind, making it remind me a bit of Sangiovese with the structure also being more in that direction. A nice minerality to it, and ending in a bit of sweet licorice. My second Delinquent and although the previous was more of a hit with me, this is also really nice.

Easy drinking, gregarious Nebbiolo. Delicious with wood fired pizza. Fresh ripe cherry, bit of fig on palate, some trailing minerality at the end. Will it be remembered for its complexity? No. But neither is your grandma's famous lasagna. It�s comfort wine for comfort Italian food and it does it oh, so we�ll.
