Ruby/garnet colour. Maturing, nut, leather, desiccated berry, mushroom, and underbrush nose. Dry, evolving palate with firm tannins and a weighty finish. PEC winery with fruit from Niagara. (tasted blind: fooled me good with this one, I guessed a 2016 Grenache/Syrah from the Pays D'Oc) 3.5/5
