Stephane Aviron Beaujolais-Villages

Note my 92 score pertains to this level of Beaujolais, not all Beaujolais such as the Crus, which would be judged by a more exacting standard. But for a BV, i find this wine outstanding. it has a rich and robust mouthfeel smooth as a baby's behind and good complexity and balance of acid, tannins and fruit. The nose is fragrant and clean, exhibiting good plum and dark berry fruit.

Vin simple et léger, Sur les petits fruits. Digeste, parfait en apéro. Bon RQP

Light and mostly clear medium bright ruby. Strawberries and raspberries with a touch of lingonberry on the nose. Lovely balance between a mild sweetness, a pleasant tartness, and perfect accompanying acids. Notes of light pomegranate, raspberries, and light garrigue. There is a tiny bit of funk in the finish along with the red berries and garrigue. Pleasant.
