Opened with some trepidation after all the forced cork problems, yet this is a sumptuously rich, creamy and well balanced glass - gloriously oppulent, fresh, sweet and ripe, yet not remotely over bearing... supple and juicy, long and velvety. Flavours are dark chocolate, soft tar/mocha; generally a delicious drop. No real complexity here - you need Cheval Blanc to experience complex Malbec - yet it is even nicer for it...no pretence, just lovely juicy rich and creamy fruit. Probably deserves …
