Wonderful aromas of flowers, spices, and red fruit, medium+ tannins smoothly integrated, medium+ acid, long finish.

Dark ruby. Initial funky note blows off with air. Aromas of barnyard, roses, earth, mushrooms, and red plums. On the palate the wine is broad and deep, medium bodied with bold fruit holding up to vibrant acids, some slightly drying tannins on the medium finish. Low alcohol (13%). Lovely with mushrooms on toast.

A very nice bottle of cab franc. No green pepper notes on this one, but it's not overripe or heavy, just a darker fruit profile. I remember having a bottle of this a couple years ago that was a little more vibrant, but still enjoyed this.
