Muted nose but palate is fresh and with medium-bodied fruit showing good development. Dry tannic finish, as with many barolos, but otherwise in a very good place.

Developed orange colour. I just can't say much about the nose of this wine because it was so muted. Light-medium weight palate. Some tell-tale nebbiolo firmness on the finish. Otherwise fairly anonymous.

very polished and concentrated with silky tannic structure whilst still having the usual haunting perfume of great barolo.

The wine was decanted 2 hours before dinner.Very dark, promising barnyard notes on the nose. Ultimately a little flat mid-palate after another hour, slightly gritty texture, with good acidity and a long finish - a better fit with meet than chicken pergaps
