Deux Montille Bourgogne

Very nice dusty earthy notes in the nose along with some raspberry and cherry and rose pedals as well. Very nice vibrant mouth with still plenty of acid kicking. Bouquet notes showing first in the mouth followed by the underlying taste of Pinot in the background. I'd have to believe this one will go another 3-5 years just fine. A mellow pinot that shows lots of character! A steal when I found it for 20 bucks!

Vibrant ruby red. Raspberries. On the palate, bright fruity acidity with rustic earthy notes in background. Great balance.

Popped and poured. Rather pale red-garnet color. Classic pinot nose of beets, strawberries, earth and some spice. Deceptively full on the palate with good fruit and rather high acidity. The balance in the aroma and on the palate is impeccable leaving an overall impression of a very elegant and complete wine.

Light red. Pungent red fruit aromatics. Light bodied with the slightest sappiness for some texture. Not overly acidic like some lower end '08s. Most notable for blacker fruit and a powerful sense of soil that wraps up the finish. Good.
