Very Good Similar to earlier in 2023 TN. This is a fruit-driven expression with lowish tannins and very food friendly. 14.5% abv Empty bottle weight: 553g

Very Good+. What a wine for low-mid teens USD. I tried this before dinner and had a bit with dinner, but this was mostly consumed by others. Some cool liquorish, smoke, blackberry, caramelizing cherry, floral, raspberry vinegar, tannins are a pleasant touch on the backend. 14.5% abv

Very dark and concentrated wine with earthy scents, cassis, chocolate and cherries on the nose. On the palate this is full bodied, balanced with firm tannins and persistent aftertaste. This is an astonishing QPR that goes extremely well with food. Very well made! Recommended! 89+

adding to the review by duchamp... the tannins are much softer now. Earthy with some chocolate notes. great QPR at $12.99.

Dark ruby, pretty tight nose dominated by smoke, tar, earth, alcohol, cassis and hints of spice, a bit tannic and biting on the attack but settles down on the long, earth stained but slightly drying finish, needs meat
