Excellent wine but still quite young. Needed to decant for over an hour for some of the heat to dissipate. Dark in color with cassis and dark fruits on the nose and palate. Some herbs and chocolate notes with good balance and acidity. This will age for quite some time and will wait at least 5-7 years to try my next bottle. Went extremely well with Prime Rib dinner.

Clones Class with Bell Wine Cellars at SFWS : Blackberry, black cherry, espresso, some “sweet” alcohol. Powerful tannins with a velvety smooth texture.

This is in a great place... fine tannins from the 98% cabernet and some ripe fruit to soften the edges. Well done in an otherwise lackluster and hot vintage. Lovely.
