distinct smoked meat & smoke, dark fruit & spice, nice long finish. solid late tannins, medium bodied.

Drinking really young with lots and lots of tannins. Still, there was a nice red berry fruitiness and spice that came through. I'm planning on holding this one until at least 2013.

Maybe a little heat damaged? A lot of heat on the nose. Otherwise typical funk of producer on the nose. Flavors are disjointed: sweet, bitter and acidic simultaneously. Little in the way of tannin. Well, it's better than I make it sound, but really doesn't come together.
