Cocoa, black plum, soil, with freshness that coaxes you into another sip. 2010 was a cool vintage but this wine balances fresh acidity with ripeness (14.2%). Finishes on that exquisite balance and lingering fine tannins. Showcases Alexis Pouillon’s skill and the potential of the Columbia Gorge. No signs of decline but probably near its peak. Lovely.
