Bollinger Champagne B13

Schitterende blanc de noir. Gesofistikeerd, elegant fruitig, citrus, licht mineraal, ziltig in afdronk. Topchampagne.

Quite gentle but sophisticated mousse. Lovely aromas and flavours of apple and pear with some strong but not overpowering brioche notes. Excellent length. Will definitely try and get some more of these if I can find at a good price.

BWC Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sweet Wine Allcomers (Greater Bromley) : 100% Pinot Noir. 7+ years lees aging. 6 g/l dosage. Nose opens with some grapefruit pith, a touch of strawberry stalk and some lime squash. Pleasantly dry palate has some Biscoff crumb, lovely acids, some slatey minerality and just a touch more lime; this is not really about the fruit. Lovely stuff.

Compared a Ridgeview Blanc de Noirs 2016 and a Bollinger B13 2013 Blanc de Noirs. Both punchy fromt the start. The difference in styles was quickly apparent. The English sparkler was expectedly more fruity (strawberries and red fruit) and more brioche (really nice nose) with the champagne. Both very smooth, excellent length.

Crisper and more citrus than I was expecting from a BdN, but tasty nonetheless. Persistent acidity, golden yellow color, and light/medium weight. Nicely done.

I am a big fan of Ballinger champagne. This is no exception. Pinot noir dominated this wine shows elements of brioche, dried cranberry, peach pit, kumquat, with a fine mousse. Razor, sharp acidity, and a nice long finish went beautifully with several appetizers, including a roasted eggplant dish that paired beautifully. Happily shared with a good friend and was well worth it.

Med yellow gold; yeasty, rich, lemon curd, lemon peel, fairly powerful, high acidic spine, nice but not exciting. 9th out of 10 DD blind Champagne dinner at Capital Seafood.

The Champagne is well-balanced with good acidity. The finish carries subtle hints of Pinot, though the Blanc de Noir characteristics are not very pronounced. The flavor profile isn't particularly distinctive, but the label design is quite unique.

WOW~! 23년 2월 구매 후 약 1년반 셀러링 과하지 않은 꿀향, 긴 피니쉬, 너티함. 볼랭져에게 힘들었다던 13빈티지 피노누아라던데 너무 맛있다. 힘들어서 약빈이고 그래서 시음적기 빨리 도래한건지? 그랑아네 14와는 너무 다른 퍼포먼스 가격은 그랑아네보다 아래지만 지금 마시기엔 그랑아네 보다 3배정도 맛있다.

Dunkles Gelb. Die Nase ist von reifen Äpfeln, Schwarzbrot und Kümmel geprägt. Im Gaumen rund, mit süsser Frucht, Aromen von Himbeer-Marshmallows und reifen Aprikosen. Im Abgang mit sehr guter Länge und fruchtigen Rückaromen. Ein fruchtbetonter, hochwertiger Champagner, nix für Puristen.

Don’t know if I would peg this as Bollinger blind. The is some red apple skin, but a lot more citrus and some glue notes. This is precise and linear - has not rounded yet. Give it some time and see what happens. (91+?)

This one is different - right from popping the cork. Very expressive on the nose - lots of late Summer red fruits, some apple. Full, not too sweet (6g/L dosage), up front and in the middle palate, then long on aftertaste with distinct allspice, cinnamon and custard. This is very distinctive and does have a Wow factor.

이를거라 생각했는데 상온보관이 길었던 양, 콜크가 많이 쪼그라져 있었음. 하지만 과숙된 향은 전혀 없이 버터리함이 끝장! 노즈만으론 이것이 샴인지 오크 잘 쓴 샤르도네인지 헷갈릴정도.. 내가 좋아하는 꿀, 브리오슈 노즈는 없었지만 참 재밌는 샴페인이었다. 산미보단 부드러움이 도드라지는, 목넘김이 좋은 샴페인!
