Barnwood Vineyards Grenache

Unusually light cherry color, more like a Burgundy. Powerful but very oaky aromas, with vanilla dominating the cherry and rasberry notes. Very oaky on the palate too, but the fruit is in better balance than on the nose. Maraschino cherries, rasberry, licorice battle the sweet vanilla flavors for dominance.
