Popped this one a bit early. Still wound tightly, it needs the cellar, but was enjoyable after decanting. Light gold, beautiful balance with bright acidity. Nuanced citrus on the nose, with notes of green apple, persimmon & graphite. The finish is extensive, with passion fruit, yuzu, and wet stone. Drank from Riedel Extreme Chardonnay glass. 2018-2021.

Rich oak treatment but balanced and nice - I like the fruit here. A pleasing choice for those who like an unctuous, slightly buttery and rich style. 90-91

Color light golden and clear. Aroma of light vanilla and toasty, pleasant but not a lot of fruit. Rich body but muted, nice clean finish. nice wine but not distinctive

A few years old, but it has balanced out nicely against the moderate level of oak used in their chards. Beautiful golden color with wonderful noise and taste. Not a grand cru burgundy, but better than most Napa chards - it reminded me of the Mt. Eden chard I drank last week.

Another really nice WA chardonnay. This one's a bit fuller and more complex than some. The french oak makes for only a subtle touch of oak so as to let the fruit flavors shine thru. Slightly creamy, nice apricot, pineapple, some almond and minerality. Good acidity, not so long finish. Nicely done, but a bit pricey at $35. 89-90 pts

This wine has a golden yellow color to it. From the nose came aromas of banana, pineapple, vanilla and a little citrus and mineral as well. It tasted of citrus, vanilla, slight minerality and toasted oak. This one will get better with some age on it. I would guess three years in the cellar would really do some wonders for this wine, and there could be a possibility this could be a wine that goes 8 to 12 years. Nice …

Loved the first bottle I had of this and bought more. This bottle was quite disappointing. Had with cod and it just did not work. Had that "steely metallic" taste and even before the meal the wine had a kind of amorphous bitter taste.

This wine greatly exceeded my expectations. Nicely balanced and a degree of sophistication that is frequently lacking in WA chardonnay. Just the right amount of oak and at $23.00/bottle is so much better then a whole lot of CA chardonnay's at $30-$50.

nose: initially very oakey, masking any other nuances. With 2 hours of air time and a significant temp increase I get more toasted lime flavors along with some dust, chalk and even a hint of peat moss. The palate is much more tart and citrus-filled than the 2003 (my only other comparison in this wine) with a rather green midpalate but a very suave finish. Aciditiy-lovers will be in heaven. This wine is simply not as generous as I expected, …

Paired beautifully with a sweet corn saute, some really amazing harmonies of flavor.
