Almond paste and cherry core with wild blue berry bushes, earthy sous bois and dusty stony minerality. 1/3 amphora, 2/3 oak 10% new, 12% abv. Clean and easy-drinking.

N - earthy and touch funky nose, attractive & perfumed Sweet cherry and red fruits, reminiscent of a nice red burgundy M - clean yet savory plum, cherry pit, tea, interesting wine

Drunk weeks ago without taking notes. What I would hope for from a Jura wine made with grape I've never heard of -- fresh, bright, offbeat but still well-balanced and pleasurable. Leaves you wanting to drink and buy more.

Palish ruby to cherry red. Bright and fresh on the nose and similar on palate. Crunchy red fruit, quite light with fresh acidity and some fine tannin. Good sausage wine. Light and refreshing. ***

Tasted at the Sampler, London. From the French Jura region. The grape of this wine is Trousseau (never had this varietal before). Medium garnet. Expressive nose of ripe berries with some earthy notes, minerality. Again this feels like a natural wine from its tannins. Medium bodied on the palate with good tannic grip. Hard to compare, feels to me like a Gamay with the structure of a Syrah.
