(Day 1) - color: light purple velvet; nose: oak and a whiff of sweaty socks; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, bright fruity notes, medium-length finish, notes of dark chocolate and black pepper, yummy chalky tannins; overall: modern and attractive, decent QPR ($15/bottle at Hunt Valley Wines near Baltimore), ready to drink as of May 2017 but likely to improve over next 12-18 months, would pour for company and pair with grilled pork tenderloin or lamb kebabs. I will buy it again.
