Burgundy is such a wild ride.

Wildly inconsistent. This may be the best bottle, a little bitterness but floral and sweet fruit.

After my 2011 was corked, decided to try this. A little seepage on the cork but wine was fantastic! Classic nsg. A little meaty and muscular. Still has plenty of life ahead of itself.

Shut down.

Sa belle teinte rubis flamboyante et brillante, son nez franc et séduisant témoignent d'un vin moderne et soigné, chatoyant, risquant de tomber dans une certaine de forme d'artifice avec son boisé luxuriant. Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney) : wild ferment funkiness, slightly rustic black cherry and meaty notes. Juicy and round, fleshy with slight cherry, fine tannins. Long. Rather nice.

Dark ruby but just short of opaque with an inch pour. Aromas of cedar, black cherry, and forest floor. The mouth entry features a fairly smooth texture, firm but not astringent tannin, a tasty red cherry, and bright but not sour acidity. The swallow includes a resonating dryness that still remains juicy. Nicely balanced between being delicious and well structured, and elegant but still rich.
