Pillitteri Estates Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Exclamation Reserve

As I popped the cork I thought it had past it's prime but as I decanted the wine it had a soft floral bouquet. The wine showed well after 1 hour of being decanted. Very reminiscent of a Bordeaux with soft tannins and medium length finish with good acidity on the back end.

Velvety. Lots of spice on both the nose and the tongue. But it does feel like the window will be closing soon, so don't hang on to this much longer.

Nicely balanced, round tannins with flavours of ripe fruit and touch of leather and hint of coffee ground. very nice on its own or with red meat, preferably bbq.
