Lucienne Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard

Reorganizing my cellar came across this Pinot Noir that was beyond the drink by date. Had peaked but was still smooth and representative of the wine and the winery. Decanted for about an hour before drinking and paired with a dinner of baked potatoes and grilled romaine. Complemented the strong bitter taste of the romaine and the heavily onion flavored cream cheese.

PINOT ON THE RIVER, nose of red cherry, sweet/sour fruit, more of the same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, needs two years to peak, long, long finish.
