Fairly classic Bordeaux, if a bit new world oriented. Nose currant, blueberry, plum, oak. Palate reasonably balanced, if a bit hot toward finish. Oak and ripeness stronger notes than I ideally like, but balanced by today's standards. This has held up way better than an under $10 Medoc should - and has more going on than the level should. Still... not all that.

Nose a bit of stewed fruit, plum, blueberry and black currant. Forest floor. Oak hints there. Palate decently balanced with good acidity lifting the fruit. Oak well balanced. Not hugely complex amd a bit rustic but the wine is on for a medoc. Great value.
