Nose of rich honey drizzled over grass and hay. Gooseberry and white pepper. Palate shows off a med bodied wine, echoing flavors from the nose. Med acidity and med length finish, decent SB, nothing really special and a little over the top for my taste...but that is what happens to SB in Calif.

A very good wine for drinking now and over the next couple years. I liked that this had a bit more roundness than most new world SB, while still maintaining SB character and verve. Reminded me more of a bordeaux blanc, but with no semillon. I was told 80% in stainless steel and 20% in neutral oak to add the bit of fullness to it. Very floral, maybe my favorite sav Blac from 2013 in California. Lime, grapefruit, earthy notes. You can taste their barrel room. Balance is on point and its a wine constantly daring you to take another sip and find more flavors. I only wish we had another bottle!

Tasting at Joseph Swan Sunday June 29 : Gooseberry, lime, grapefruit aromas- slight grassiness. Nicely rich with hints of spice atop the fruit on the palate. Good balance, flush with full fruit on the palate. Well done.
