Improvement over a year ago, to my taste anyway. Needed about an hour of air time to settle in. The tropical flavors stretch out longer and are better stitched to the acidity and minerality. Really great stuff here. Drink through 2016. 5+12+18+7 = 92

Followed over 3hours open. Very light straw green color with a bright shimmer. Pretty tight for the first 20min or so on the nose before a gentle mix of apple, grapefruit, tangerine, coconut, banana, and rocks emerge. Excellent balance across the acidity-alcohol-sweetness spectrum to my palate. Reveals more of the ground and not as much pungent fruit, nor does it carry as long on the finish as the 2011 Tradition, but still a great example of California being able to …
