{screwcap, 13.5%} Pretty mainstream sauvignon. A little bit of the gooseberry/asparagus qualities, not so sharp as the old style Marlborough offerings, but thankfully lacks the passionfruit-sweet aspect that seems so prevalent nowadays. Simple palate; not too acidic but not flabby either; decent unthinking quaffing drinking for a hot day (not Hobart today, incidentally!)
