Nose of lemon curd. Medium weight palate with a creamy texture. Balanced finish with both the wood and alcohol in check. No doubt well past its prime, but still worth drinking.

Surprisingly fresh. Medium bodied, Chassagne like, with a certain complexity and creaminess. Subtle flavors of Irish butter, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and fig. Very fine, with enough acidity to take on food.

nice basic Napa Chard, not too much fruit or acid, a bit murky and undefined but very pleasant and good compliment for food or cocktails.

A nice chardonnay - oak was there but not too overpowering. Light and mild. Very drinkable.

well within parameters balancing fruit, oak, and minerals in a nuanced, interesting terroir sort of way, but what sets this cuvee apart is the full body. a terrific qpr

The least expensive Chardonnay on the menu at CP's Steakhouse in Reno and a damn fine pick IMO. Great fruit, delicate nose with nice well-rounded flavors. Good example of a fine Napa Valley vineyard.

nose: getting some butter and oak on the nose. pretty traditional california chard nose, but not really overpowering taste: really coats your pallate. lots of butter and some citrus hints and a bit of cinnamon. The taste is kind of confusing me a bit, but not neccessarily in a bad way. overall: this is a well made wine. The oak integrates well to where it's a nice side taste as opposed to being straight up in the forefront. It's there, …

I've been growing tired of the oaky, buttery, vanilla strong chardonney. So at first tasting, I did not think I would enjoy as this would be another one in the style of Hess' lower priced chardonney. However, this one has enough of a refreshing and fruit aftertaste to keep me interested.

Satiny, slightly oily but rich mouthfeel. Buttery lobster flavors, oak/cedar finish which is somewhat smokey and not too short. Fruits of apricot, grapefruit (which we found debatable). Did paired tasting with Echelon chardonnay, which by comparison was much less complex and more fruity.
