Domaine Costa Lazaridi masterclass (WSPC) : The wine shows a very youthful profile, raw power, the fruit shows ripeness, red and black fruit, the oak is there framing all the fruit but still the fruit is insanely fresh Palate follows the same pattern of the nose, the tannins are quite aggressive still, toast, still very tight, mineral, warmth, full body, massive and very compact, long persistent finish. There are a few hints of coffee, thick oak frame

The vintage 2016 may be too young to drink, very strong tannins, the bouquet rather closed, the acid not well integrated, had expected more

The tannins were extremely hard when we opened the bottle so we decanted it for two hours. Tannins were a bit tamed but it was again obvious the wine is still young to drink. I dont know how the wine will evolve in the future but now the nose was a bit closed but still enjoyed it. I guess the grade would be much higher in 5 years or so
