Fantastic nose with lots of truffly wood in a blackberry jam. Entry is quite savoury, nice mid weight. Tannins late and slightly rough, finishing with a nice herbal note and a bit of pepper. Overall this is excellent, sutprisingly good. Not lacking fruit, but this is wood driven with the complexity it is adding is a nice touch.

Nice dark color and smells of mild autumn leaves. Not particularly concentrated on the palate with tastes of cassis and coffee. Decent acidity. Very typical of a lower priced Bordeaux from a not-so-stellar year. Will hold up for more aging.

Dark fruit Medoc nose with strong vanilla oak. Long finish with a touch of pepper and thyme. Tannins to last a number of years. Could wait a few years to see if it would soften the oak.
