Dusty, sweet primary fruit with blueberries and red fruit. Simultaneously salty and savory and also dominated by sweet primary fruit. Not tremendously tannic but very well balanced. I still think this is a spectacular, unique, character laden and delightful wine that speaks of it's place and lets its place speak through it's minimal winemaking. Miles away from oak laden or over extracted, it is instead very aromatic and very beguiling.

Clean flawless wines with excellent acid structure. Quite tannic right now, need a few years of cellaring to mature.

14% abv, 40% Cab Franc, 40% Merlot, 20% Cab Sauv. Aged 16(?) months in mostly older oak. Gorgeous deep translucent ruby. Effusive, pure nose of blue and black fruits, cedar, earth, dust. This smells of the Guadalupe Valley in a stunning way. Medium bodied extremely pure palate. Nice acidic backbone, moderate tannins. Long long clean finish of fruits, dust and acid.
