Robe bourgogne foncée. Décanté 1h30. Beau nez sur la cerise et le boisé. En bouche, les tannins sont souples. Gout de fumé, vanille et cuire, bien balancé. Très beau vin canadien.

Could have done with a longer decant, second glass distinctly more open than first. Balancing leather and fruit very nicely. Very nice with acidic food, still slightly sharp without.

87% Cabernet Franc, 6% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon & 3% Merlot. 30% new French with a combo of 2-3y barrels for 21m. Then 12m in bottle. Decanted an hour, and paired with a ribeye. Should of decanted longer. Blueberry, bakers chocolate, plum, vanilla, leather, hint of herbaceous, pencil lead. I'd leave this for another year or two, almost felt I opened this to young. Easily has 10 plus years.

dark purple. fleshy but not flabby dark cherry, cedar & hint of tobacco. balanced tannins & noticeable acid. nicely structured. will improve over next 3-4 years
