92 DF Intense, lengthy and fruit forward delivering a burst of unripe cherry, red licorice and white pepper. Full bodied, bright acidity and mouth coating tannins. A year or two in the cellar will soften this already good wine. NI:4, FI:22, FC:8, B:3, L:5

Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted one hour. Nose of black raspberry, cherry, orange peel, bramble and spice. Black raspberry, black cherry, bramble, orange zest and licorice on the palate. Pure with a very long finish. Medium to full bodied. An excellent Zin. Served with bourbon and brown sugar glazed ham.

Great vineyard and a producer who knows what to do with it!

So much spice character on a medium body deliciousness. Crazy good for so young.

The nose is not shy and just stunning, with black and red bramble berries, blood orange, nutmeg, cinnamon and wet tobacco leaf. Very approachable and open, with a full-to medium body and the right amount of bass and treble notes. The finish stretches on for almost a minute. Redolent and such a polished texture. A round middle. A different animal, but up there with the ‘20 - which was my favorite Saitone by Carlisle. I see no reason to rush …
