An aged Riesling with tertiary notes very apparent. Honeysuckle, wet stones, pear, ripe pineapple, petrol, blue cheese. This is a very complex WV Riesling that aged very well.

Double blind. Light color. Notes of peach and slate with a floral undertone. Stone fruit on the palate with a bitterness in the finish. Guessed Finger Lakes riesling. (R&R)

A thick nose of rubber toy and warm plastic upon first opening. Eventually that blew off and lime pith, lemon, and grapefruit shone through. Punchy acidity. Still holding up well, but likely won’t last too much longer.

Really surprised at how well this holds up. Kabinett level sweetness that seems to have needed some time to come into its own. Strong lime and river rock vibes, lemon pith, white flowers. I doubt this improves with time, but I think it has another year or two before it starts to seriously decline.
