Château Lilian Ladouys Kosher

Fantastic. Good concentration. Earth fruit gravel minerals.

This was a good bottle but it was a little bit diminished and not showing as well as other tastings. I think it may be a slightly off bottle. It had some features of all the great bottles of this wine that I've tried previously but I do think this was just slightly off.

92-93+ classic old school Bordeaux that I miss so much. Dark color. Gorgeous bouquet of minerals, smoke, cedar, spice. Minerals Galore on the bouquet. Concentrated with layers of flavor, loads of minerals, smoke, spice, dark fruits, chocolate, leather, tobacco. This is deliciously complex. Listen needs a couple years to shut its tannins and open up more but it's even delicious right now. A nice 13% abv, normal for Bordeaux. Incredible balance. Incredible qpr. Likely best from 2027 to 2033.

92-93++. From a 375ml. Nice dark color. From the 1st whiff of the boquet, this is classic Bordeaux. Minerals, leather, earth, spice. On the palate, good fruit with loads of mineral, leather, spice, tannins. Long finish. Enjoyable now, it really needs age to shed its tannins and show its stuff. Great QPR. Of note, there are not many kosher St. Estephe (even fewer that are good an affordable). One of the most classic old school kosher Bordeaux that I've had …
