Drinking well right now. Needs to open for at least an hour. Went great will grilled flank steak. Tannins are pretty smooth with good dark fruit and acidity. Several years left. Classic WLW for those that enjoy this style with Rutherford dust.

Very nice. Last bottle of the evening and the best. Earthy. nice fruit in the middle and a beautiful finish; just like we like 'em.

This is certainly a very good wine. That said, we have not been members of Whitehall Lane for several years, and drinking this bottle, at Whitehall's current price points, does not make us miss being members. The bottle needs to air out, either with a VSpin for a full 5 minutes, or decant for a couple hours. It also drinks much better with food. It is a very robust wine, and does not do nearly so well as a sipping …

Straightforward blackberry and cassis. Well structured, dense and quite tasty. Falls short on depth/complexity.

Lots of tannins but good. Needs a bit of decanting.

Went with a pop and pour on this one. This wine opened up nicely as dinner progressed. So I would give it a couple hours to breathe before serving. This is a nice cab with notes of cassis and dark cherry on the nose. It is in balance with a tannic bite and a nice finish. This wine should age nicely for a couple of more years easily. Really enjoyed this wine with dinner. This is a heavy wine and …

Solid botte, I should have aged this longer but the oak should continue to integrate.

A nothing-special Napa Cab. But Napa Cabs are generally pretty darn delicious and this is not an exception. Youthful coconut blackberry and boysenberry will be better in 2024 but never great. 90+

Rich Blackberrys, smooth tannins, slightly sweet, full bodied. Not incredibly complex but what it expressed it expressed well. Went well with NY Strip and blue cheese. Was served a little warm so I bet this will be better once my cooling unit gets fixed.

My first bottle, though I am sure I have tasted it at the winery. In my opinion, quite overpriced. Literally, if it were not my bottle, and I drank it at someone's house, I would have assumed it was probably a $12 or $15 bottle with a pretty label.

Really to young to drink but having opened the bottle here goes ....... Aromas of slight sulfur and freshly paved asphalt (very slight). Flavors of youthful unripened black fruits. Unripened plum and overly tannic juice. Way too young to open. Totally unbalanced acidity today which dominates the mouthfeel but rings of tremendous age ability when you consider the tannins opposite this.
