A Chingao Vineyards y Envinate Albahra Chingao

Deep Ruby. Cocoa beans on the nose. Rich fruit and lively acidity.

The tannins on this wine were quite chalky - you can almost perceptively imagine the thickness of the grape skins that were pressed. Darker purple as a result but quite fruity and expressive from the get go.

Day 1: inky pastel crimson color. The nose consists of dried cranberries, red beans, caramel, massive earthy red flowers (Camellia?), and a hint of black beer malt/ funk. In the mouth, tannin is medium, soft/unstructured and sweet. This makes the jammy fruit so upfront and expressive. Supported by good acidity, and the finish lingers medium-short, but the whole point of this wine is the speed/magnitude of initial fruit explosion.
