Sara Vezza Sara Vezza Barbera d'Alba, Italy, Piedmont, Alba, Barbera d'Alba

Double decanted 24h prior. Shy aromas with bits of tart blackberries, earth and bark. Dark, bass blackberries and unripe blueberries, earth, some tar, bark and minerals. Lots of bass notes giving a sense of weight on med-full body. Excellent acids and mild-medium tannins. Nice moderate finish. Liked this but the bass notes for a barbera was a bit jarring.
