Bright pale ruby with slight pale garnet at the rim. Very aromatic with pepper, fruits. Rigid body with good acidity to show its structure. Very smooth tannins with delicious minerality at the finish. The finish is long, tertiary started to develop. An undervalued grand cru.

The wine is slightly hazy / cloudy. Some green pepper and mushrooms. Quite a thin palate. I tried the 2006 and sadly this wasn't at that level, but they say that's because improvements came post 2000. A great wine to try though.
