La Grapperie Coteaux du Loir Gravot

Had to give this several hours of air as it is one of the most reductive wines I've ever smelled. Dark beet red. Once the reduction disapaites, it shows some forest floor & white pepper on the nose. The palate is actually quite juicy with just a whisper of spritz. High acid balances the fleshy, high toned red fruit. Kinda wild, but enjoyable once it all comes together.
