Another bottle I babied in the cellar for a 6 years. I was really looking forward to enjoying this but it was corked. Just wasn't in the cards. An effing waste.

Wow, just delicious. Beautiful nose, layers of flavor that keep coming. Rich purple, berry, tobacco, leather. Long finish.

Three hour decant. Nearly opaque ruby magenta color. Apple, blueberry, mustard seed and subtle vanilla on the jammy nose. Brambly palate with nice acidity. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish. This seemed a bit off to my wife and I, so I’ll try it again tomorrow (24 hour decant).

This is a smooth drinking fruit bomb. A little acidic up front, but very smooth finish. However, it drinks very heavy and feels like jam on the pallet. Wanted to like it, but just can’t finger why it’s not appealing to me.

Dark and inky, ready to go at the open. Big, ripe, sweet. Glass staining, I wanted to be critical of this, but it seduced me. It's the proverbial fruit bomb.

Lots of good red fruit with a slight hint of cocoa. night 2 was even better to this wine. Really smooth drinking, well balanced and no real hint of tannin or oak in this one. I am a fan.
