Total fruit bomb. Jammy. Grape soda without the fizz.

Port red in colour, straight from the bottle ,massive casis and black cherry and coffee. Over time the wine displays great tannins and balance. Im very impressed with KJ wines and theiir approach to wine making. If this is indicative of the new Californian wine methodology then im sold.

For less than $20, what's not to like. Through Vinturi. Sweet Blackberry fruit, bit of cocoa, and nice on palate. Mild tannins and acidity, but at this QPR, very nice.

One of the most varietally correct Cabernet Sauvignons I have had in a long, long time. Beautiful wine.

Very fruit forward and full bodied. Not overly dry or tannic but very smooth.

Decanted this one after cellaring it for about 6 months and it really opened up after about an hour. Even my wife who doesn't like most reds thought this was very good.

Unabashedly New World, fruit-forward out of the bottle. After two days corked in the 'frig, the big jammy fruit seems to calm down and the wine becomes better balanced, including the emergence of some nuances as described on the label: "...mocha, nutmeg and cinnamon..."

Previous notes pretty much nailed it. Would benefit from an hour or so in carafe, we simply didn't have one where we were staying.

You will not beat this QPR. I think WRMCCALL nailed it, hints of cocoa and cinnamon. Nice fruit. Smooth but not flat. More complex than most at this price range and does not suffer from too much oak or sweetness. Probably would drink it within the next two years at most.

Excellent right now with dried fruit and cocoa on the nose. Flavors include blackberry with a hint of cinnamon. Nice finish. Enjoy now or give it some time and it can only get better

A very nice mellow wine and a good value for the money. I used to ignore big producers like KJ and Mondavi. I really was not interested in "industrial" wines made in massive quantities. I was only interested in small production wines made by "real" people. While I still favor the smaller producer, a trip to Napa this past November caused me to come to the realization that many of these old big producers claimed some of the best wine …

A big, bold cabernet. Lots of tannins. Needs at least an hour os so to breathe. Best with beef or pastas with red sauce.
