Concur with most of the notes here. It's fruity, inky, and easy drinking, while also showing several interesting elements, a streaky garrigue like bitters vein, appealing minerality, and some smokiness. Harmonious blend, very good concentration, surprisingly long finish. The fruit forwardness makes this a crowd pleaser. On the whole, a lot of wine for $10 that can both provide the terroir thirsty a quick fix and the fruit bomb crowd their kicks.

You would be very hard pressed to find a better everyday $10 bottle of wine. A wine store employee recommended this to me a year ago, and my wife and I have enjoyed it frequently since. Great with barbecue. Deep flavor. Interesting. Sort of fruit forward, but a bit of earthiness. Fun to drink.

lots of taste though bit too much on sweetened side for dry red wine

Dark violet coloured wine made from the trio of Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Primitivo. Very much on the fruity side with a rather generic nose of bright cherries, raspberries and blackberries. No grape variety-specific aromas to make out here. Juicy with a sweet touch and a little tart acidity to it in the back. Slightly chilled on a summer day it is a quaffer but nothing to write home about. Will definitely work well with all your non-wine-drinking friends since …

This wasn't a life-changing wine by any means, but for $10 it was an *outstanding* value. Nice nose, bright red fruits with a hint of cola, and a nice finish. A great every-day drinker.

Inky wine...great tasting bottle for $10! All the hype is correct about this everyday drinker.

A great value wine. Want a Zin, but tired of the over-extracted, sticky sweet jam-fests? This has that great black fruit, and just enough tannin to balance it out. Not a Parker mega-score wine, but a great wine to go with BBQ (in this case, a chipotle-honey sauce on a grilled flank steak). Buy again...and again.
