Bright, rich salmon color. Typically aged for about 8 years before dosage. Blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay and 5% Meunier. Very persistent tiny bubbles and a very nice mousse. Big, big nose of candied strawberries, ripe raspberries, spicy currant, fragrant rose,, freshly baked bread, and notable chalky minerals. Dosage is 9 g/l, but the high acidity, and fruit richness really make this a very well balanced and elegant rose Champagne. Outstanding.

Bread, good earthiness, soft fruits. Palate is well balanced, very fine bead, some secondary notes, long finish. Good acid

Very nice showing. I like the precision and delineation here, a very finely drawn Champagne with the equally fine mousse creating a nice balance. Very pleasant to drink and likely some upside from here.

Discrete nose, raspberries, some red flowers, then some woody elements. The palate is light and really precise, chalky elements on the finish. Not as grand as the stunning 2012 but very well made. Like the normal Belle Epoque, the 2013 is lighter and aromatically less expressive. I would give this till 2028 (15 years in bottle) before opening.
