It's 2011, Jake. Decanted 1 hr. ahead and sampled over the next hour. Closed-in nose of black cherry, black pepper, olives. More promising on the palate, as rich texture in medium-full body jumps out. Acid balance is firm, with cranberry and earthy flavors joining. Finishes well, with drying, juicy tannins.
