This was a good easy drinking Super Tuscan. Paired with lamb sliders with a feta cheese sauce and truffle ketchup. Delicious food and wine stood up well to the flavors. Also fun because we shared with friends and were able to tell stories about the Tuscany trip.

Carpe Vino!; 11/9/2014-11/15/2014 (Tuscany (Florence, Montalcino, Siena)) : 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot. This wine was named after the birthday of the winemaker (the 11th of March). I get lots of pepper here - in the nose, on the palette. It's good and spicy and makes the Chianti seem a bit quiet in comparison. Some fruit undercurrents - mostly get a bit of a red currant. This ended up being my favorite of the Bello Stento wines we tried.
