Citrus and stone on the nose. Those same citrus flavors mixed in with wet rocks and some lemon-lime zest come across the palate. There is an off on the finish. It is a very acidic taste of a spoiled grapefruit that makes this a pass for me. The alcohol is only 12.5% but comes across very hot and unbalanced. ($12)

Color: Lighter butterscotch yellow Nose: Fresh with a little tropical fruit Taste: Some acid but a not a particularly sharp structure; a little rounded. Some tropical fruit is tasted in the understructure. The taste is a little on the "quiet" side --- albeit not austere, so it might be made more to accompany food rather to stand on its own.

At L'Escargot: clean, pure, but lacking character
