Aromas of red & black raspberry, cocoa and herbs. The palate is dark with notes of black cherry, cocoa and red raspberry. A touch dusty and herbal with medium acidity/tannins. Drink now-2016.

fancy heavy bottle; earthy nose; nice sweet but simple red cherry fruit; not enough mid palate or structure. some minerality comes thru on day 2; another cali style sangio that hasn't aged well. on the other hand, it did taste like sangiovese.

University Club tasting. Smooth, all Sangiovese. Can't find any info on this bottle, which is different than their regular sangiovese offering, and has the phrase "Native Son" on the back. Would like to find again in the future
