Weingut Johannishof, Johannisberger Vogelsang Riesling Kabinett, Rheingau

Fun Weekend in Boston; 7/27/2012-7/28/2012 (Boston, Massachusetts) : Light golden. One of those German wines where you can't decide between some aromatic flaw and just slightly funky aged Riesling aromas. Since the palate was not tainted, I think this bottle was okay, but I'm nowhere close to 100% sure. Rich, off dry, yellow peach fruit and lowish acidity. Whatever the verdict about its soundness, rather heavyhanded and not all that good.
