Smooth and sweet at the start. Relatively high astringency in the finish. Lots of strawberry. For me the astringency is a big high but it does not linger long enough to be too off putting. I would buy this again for $9

Dark ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, graphite, leather, oak, pepper, plum, strawberry, toast, and vanilla. Medium-high tannins and medium acidity. Bold but nevertheless smooth and easy to drink. Great QPR.

Strawberry and vanilla nose. Fruit, fruit, fruit! Tart strawberry and sweet plum are prominent with notes of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, soy sauce and mineral followed by light, buttery, caramel tannin and a faint balsamic acidity.
