This wine is still going strong. Decanted about 45 minutes before a steak and potato birthday dinner. It was a beautiful match. The fruit is less evident but the overall effect is of a very nicely balanced wine. Probably still has another couple of years before it declines much more.

2012 Vandlac Christmas Party : We took a magnum of this to a Christmas/wine party. It was decanted. Initially it was ok, kind of so/so and DH and I felt let down compared to some of the other pinots in the line up. Retasted it again after hearing a guest gushing over it and it had simply opened up beautifully after an hour. Big lush fruit, complex layers of flavor with a long satisfying finish.
